Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% March 20–Monday
MOSCOW, Mar 28 (PRIME) -- Russian consumer prices rose 0.1% for a fourth consecutive week from March 20 through Monday, and reached 0.8% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Wednesday.
In the reported period, egg prices increased 1.8%, sugar prices 0.9%, millet by 0.7%, salt by 0.2%.
Buckwheat prices fell 1.3%, pork, chicken and caramel became 0.2–0.3% cheaper.
Fruit and vegetable prices increased 1.1% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained virtually unchanged.
